10 pitches plus fully furnished safari tents to hire.

Description

Our campsite is a little different to most campsites in the UK, 10 pitches set in 9 acres of organic flower rich meadows, surrounded by native trees, with buzzards and kites overhead on the edge of a village. With a meandering stream and hedgerows ablaze with wildlife, this is a truly natural Welsh haven for you to experience nestled between the Cambrian mountains and the Cardigan coast. We believe in providing a quality uncrowded site where adults can relax and enjoy the open countryside whilst children enjoy the rugged excitement nature has to offer.

Bring your own tent or if you are new to camping or want a different experience you can stay in one of our lovely fully furnished safari tents.

A core feature is the promotion of environmentally responsible tourism which we strive to incorporate into all aspects of how we manage the site. We do not have electric hook ups, this is where evenings are all about, stories, conversation, star gazing, fires and the odd glass of wine.

Facilities

• Each pitch has its own fire pit with seating logs.
• Hazel, willow and silver birch sensitively create diversity across the site.
• Trails and orienteering routes around the site suitable for all the family.
• A natural adventure playground, children’s tipi and willow tunnels.
• Children can help us feed the animals and collect the eggs each morning.
• Comfy sofas, books, toys and games in our converted barn.
• Outdoor ball games area.
• Drying area.
• A family evening with songs, stories, hot chocolate and marsh mallows around the camp fire.
• Fishing nets for dipping in the stream.
• Washing up area.
• Showers, flushing loos and beautiful composting toilets.
• Information board displaying the wide range of local activities.
